There are lots of opportunities to cook at the kindy. The children get to put the ingredients in the bowls and mix and create. It is a very hands on experience. Then they get to lick the bowl, the best part of any cooking experience.
The Kindy Book Fair was on recently and there were lots of helpers and lots of customers. Parents and children from the kindy get to choose books and buy them and a percentage of the money sold gets spent on new books for the Kindy library. Its a win win situation.
The children had a great adventure on PLAY BALL day. They got to learn some skills such as; kicking a ball, throwing a ball, and balance. The children had so much fun at Kindy. A great highlight of the week.
A great day was had when the Evergreen Puppet Theatre came to kindy. The children got to learn all about the reef and the amazing animals that live there.
